As a Seattle area native, Katie graduated from Washington State University, in Pullman, WA, where she earned both her: Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Master of Accounting. Post-graduation, Katie earned her CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and began working at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as an Audit Associate – focusing on the Financial Services industry. Katie’s Public Accounting experience proved to be invaluable as she took her next step into Financial Analysis & Accounting at Nordstrom. It was at Nordstrom where Katie discovered her interest in business strategy and driving those business decisions, that ultimately led her to Salesforce, as a Finance & Strategy Manager – supporting the Sales organization. With this experience, Katie realized that her exact skillset and passions aligned perfectly with her husband, Judah Piano and his partner, Scott Martin’s Financial Planning practice.
