Operations Assistant

Who We Are

Barnum Financial Group - West Division, led by Judah Piano and Scott Martin, is a growing financial planning and investment advisory firm.  Our office is located in downtown Seattle with its headquarters in Connecticut.

The three pillars of our operations team are Support, Service, and Structure. The Operations Assistant supports our team of financial advisors by gaining subject matter expertise in the processes that run our firm.  The Operations Assistant helps develop and maintain structures that keep our firm efficient, organized, and compliant.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct support to the operations team by:

  • Assist Operations Manager in account maintenance and client relations
  • Working with prospective clients to open and fund accounts
  • Implementing compliance best practices
  • Completing additional projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience making outbound calls to partners and associates
  • Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills
